Country Cousins is a family run English Language school which has been providing top quality educational experiences to junior students aged 7 to 17 since 1951.

Based in Ilfracombe, North Devon, our courses are designed to captivate and inspire students.

Our students take part in a carefully-considered programme of formal lessons, sports, leisure activities, evening entertainment and cultural excursions, which not only develop their English language and communications skills but also promotes self confidence and international awareness within a healthy and safe learning environment.

We provide a high level of teaching and learning using a variety of methods and materials. All of our courses include at least 15 hours of quality English tuition. Each course is also packed with activities, excursions, local visits and sports, all carefully designed to be both educational and fun.

Country Cousins attracts students from over 50 different countries around the world, and we are currently the only English language school in the world to receive a British Council award.
