Promoting Country Cousins, Ilfracombe and North Devon in East Asia
Our globetrotting representative is at it again. Fresh from his dazzling success at the ICEF Berlin Workshop in Berlin, where the Country Cousins unique blend of English, cultural and sporting activities along with a very safe environment could not fail to impress, Jose Brinkman, our versatile Managing Director and general factotum jetted off to the ST Alphe Conference, in the @OkuraHotel, Tokyo, Japan to open up yet another fresh market. In convivial surroundings there were over 114 agents, 66 educators and many more other representatives present.
It was at the ST Alphe that he was able to introduce many of these interested, potential partners to the essence of this exceptional blend of factors that makes the Country Cousins experience unique: excellent English language tuition combined with practical application of the language through a programme of physical and cultural activities.
Jose was certainly in demand with a throng of prospective partners queuing to enter into formative discussions. These conversations will no doubt lead to an expansion of the mix of nationalities at the school, something which traditionally has proven such a major advantage over schools that cater for one single nationality. Whether from Beijing, Paris, the Czech Republic, Germany or even Luxembourg, or indeed from one of many other countries of origin, you are guaranteed a warm welcome here. So to Japanese students we would say, “Come and join us all, the students and the staff,” or to put it in the words of a famous quiz show master: “Come on Down!”
